Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is seeking an associate to package parts for shipment in a manufacturing environment. You will measure, weigh, and count products, inspect for packing specifications, and document all materials as they move through the process.

You will seal, label, and pack items into cartons/crates, and maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with ITAR requirements and supervisor instructions. High school diploma or GED is required.

Job Summary:

Responsible for packaging parts for shipment/transport.

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met
• Ensure that all documentation is kept with the materials
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records
• Seal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly
• Perform other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
