Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, a full-service surface finishing company serving aerospace, defense, space and satellites, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk in Wichita. You will ensure incoming/outgoing shipments are accurate, properly documented, and compliant with ERP systems and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP and inventory management software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material-handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
• Resolve discrepancies or issues related to shipping and receiving activities.
• Ensure shipping/receiving area is organized, clean, and safe; follow safety protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Responsible for managing the flow of materials, parts, and products ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company and industry standards.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
