Job summary

Sterling is seeking an Operations Agent in Dallas, TX to schedule pickups, verify shipments, and coordinate with customs brokers, warehouses, and clients. The role involves handling calls, processing bookings, tracking cargo, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will have strong data-entry and MS Office skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Prior transportation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist answering incoming calls and emails and respond to customer requests.
• Supervise loading of trucks and take bookings from customers.
• Track shipments and communicate progress to clients.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries and update in Trans Soft.
• Ensure compliance with TSA and safety procedures.
• Carry out duties related to shipping, receiving, and transportation.
• Maintain records of cargo dims, weight and damages.
• Collaborate with customs brokers, warehousing staff, and carriers.
