Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Group Lead to direct a distribution center department, overseeing warehouse operations and the PKMS/WM system. The role requires coordinating daily tasks, training, safety, and adherence to procedures, with strong communication across shifts.

The ideal candidate will manage inventory transactions, prioritize workloads, and ensure a healthy working environment while supporting shift supervisors and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Good attendance and solid work record.
• Reading and writing literate; basic math skills.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and PKMS/WM System.

Responsibilities

• Direct area associates in department operations.
• Communicate directions and procedures to hourly workers.
• Lead and coordinate department activities and training.
• Ensure work follows procedures and safety standards.
• Manage daily inventory transactions and work orders.
• Prioritize tasks and assign duties to staff.
• Run queries to determine department needs.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
