Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping/logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping regulations and documentation.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and shipment consolidation.
• AES experience preferred.
• Proficiency with shipping software, databases, and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Pay: Up to $28.00/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator for a long-term temporary opportunity in Waltham, MA. This role supports domestic and international shipping operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping documentation, freight coordination, and shipping software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Process domestic and international shipments accurately and on time
• Schedule and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders
• Package and ship materials using approved packaging methods
• Generate shipping documentation, including airway bills, Shipper's Export Declarations (SEDs), and Shipper's Letters of Instruction (SLIs)
• Utilize shipping systems including UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL Easy Ship Professional
• Maintain shipment tracking information and provide updates as needed
• Process outgoing mail and enter shipping data into company systems
• Follow shipping procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience with domestic and international shipping regulations and documentation
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and shipment consolidation
• Familiarity with Automated Export System (AES) preferred
