Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Shipping Clerk in a Monday–Friday shift (1:00PM–9:30PM) to verify, log, tag and load shipments in a fast, accurate manner. You will interact with customers and internal departments, safely loading and tagging pallets and using RF units with the Internal Operating System to ensure shipping accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and less than one year in a warehouse, with strong attention to detail, basic math, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn Internal Operating System and RF unit.

Responsibilities

• Invoice, tag and load customer shipments accurately and on time.
• Verify orders and charges for correct invoicing and loading.
• Create parcel or freight invoices with accurate shipping charges.
• Respond to account executives, traffic, drivers, or other inquiries by phone or email.
• Manually load pallets on conveyors and lift cases safely.
• Use RF unit and Internal Operating System for daily tasks.
• Meet production and accuracy standards and deadlines.
