Atkore International is seeking a Shipping Lead for the 1st shift in Cartersville, GA. The role includes supervising shipping staff, coordinating duties, and participating in lean manufacturing initiatives.

The good-faith pay estimate is $26.00/hour, with growth opportunities based on competencies, experience, and shift requirements. Responsibilities include leading subordinates, ensuring safety and PPE usage, and handling shipping operations from receiving to final shipment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of shipping/receiving experience or equivalent
• Ability to read tape measure
• Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a manufacturing environment
• Detail-oriented
• Knowledge of safety practices
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the activities of subordinates
• Actively participate in safety program
• Cross-train in different areas of Shipping Department
• Load material onto trucks safely
• Maintain inventory and locate materials
• Prepare finished stock for shipment and document shipment details
• Maintain material-handling equipment and perform pre-use inspections
• Housekeeping and sanitation
