Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Fabrication Machine Operator Lead for the 2nd shift in Cartersville, GA. This role leads the lead operator team, ensures safe machine operation, and facilitates continuous improvement in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

You will work 4:00pm-12:30am, Monday thru Friday, with a $23.00/hour base plus a $1 shift differential. Overtime may be required and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Stand for 10 hours in non-climate-controlled area; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead fabrication machine operators and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Provide direction and guidance to team; monitor multiple machines.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety controls, PPE compliance and housekeeping.
