Job summary

Tate Americas is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage inbound and outbound material flow, verify shipments, and support production and delivery requirements. The role emphasizes accuracy, inventory integrity, and coordination with carriers.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of shipping/warehouse experience, can read shipping documents, and are proficient with ERP systems. A strong eye for detail and safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Able to read shipping documents, packing slips, and bills.

Responsibilities

• Own accuracy of all inbound and outbound shipments processed through the facility.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Inspect materials for damage, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Prepare outbound shipments including packaging, labelling, and documentation.
• Coordinate shipment schedules with carriers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate shipping records, bills of lading, and receiving documentation.
• Move materials to designated storage or staging areas following warehouse procedures.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities to maintain data integrity.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate resolution with purchasing or operations teams.
• Maintain organization of warehouse space to support efficient material flow.
• Track and update inventory transactions within ERP or warehouse systems.
• Follow all safety procedures related to material handling and warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in alignment with 5S standards.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Report damaged goods, safety hazards, or operational issues immediately.
