Job summary

Tate Americas, part of Kingspan Data Solutions, seeks a Receiving Specialist in Pocahontas, AR. This full-time role handles receiving, inspection, and documentation of shipments to support inventory accuracy and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include unloading goods, verifying details, entering data into WMS/ERP, labeling and routing items, and coordinating with teams to resolve discrepancies. Candidates should have a HS diploma and warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or ERP software preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Forklift certification preferred.

About The Role

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for receiving, inspecting, verifying, and documenting incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring products are properly processed and stored in a timely manner.

What You’ll Do
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments from carriers and vendors.
  • Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, overages, or discrepancies against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Verify quantities, product codes, lot numbers, and condition of materials received.
  • Accurately enter receiving data into warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software.
  • Label, organize, and route products to designated storage or operational areas.
  • Communicate receiving discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors, purchasing, or vendors.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage areas.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock verification activities.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or scanners as needed.
  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, inventory control, shipping, and production teams to support daily
What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, or inventory experience preferred.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or ERP software preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment when certified.
  • Experience using RF scanners or barcode systems.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Understanding of inventory and warehouse procedures.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
