Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support encapsulation, bottling and shipping processes in our California facility. The role involves weighing ingredients, operating packaging lines, and maintaining accurate records to ensure quality and on-time shipments.

You will work with a team across production and shipping to meet daily schedules, handle packaging and labeling, and uphold GMP standards while keeping areas clean and safe. This position is on-site in California.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory software and data entry tools.
• Knowledge of bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Understanding carrier rules and shipping methods.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and blend/culture products following SOPs.
• Operate encapsulation, banding, bottling lines per daily production/shipping schedules.
• Record keeping and documentation; perform quality measures.
• Maintain equipment and safety system performance.
• Clean and sanitize encapsulation and shipping areas as required.
• Flex to different areas to support daily operations.

Job description

A company in the supplement's health industry is looking to hire Shipping Clerk's. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven company where your work contributes to products that make a difference in people’s everyday health and well-being.

Working hours start time:7:30am

Job Duties:

• Responsible to properly weigh all ingredients and blend/culture all products while following SOP procedures.
• Work on the encapsulation machine, banding machine, or bottling line with team members following daily production or shipping schedules.
• Encapsulation, banding, blending, culturing, bottling, packaging and shipping products, processing raw materials, record keeping & documentation, executing quality measures.
• Operational maintenance of equipment and safety system performance.
• Flexes to different areas to support daily operation depending on business need.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the entire encapsulation, banding, blending, culturing, bottling, and shipping areas as required.
• Responsible for freeze drying as required.
• Responsible for Drug Good Manufacturing Practices and applicable SOP procedures including hygienic procedures.

Skills:

• Using inventory software, Microsoft Office, and data entry tools.
• A plus if skills driving a forklift, using a pallet jack, and running RF barcode scanners is a plus not required.
• Preparing bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Understanding basic shipping methods, carrier rules (like FedEx or UPS), and postal procedures.
• Attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Standing and walking for shifts, safely lifting packages and heavy stock, often up to 50 pounds or more.
