Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is seeking a detail-oriented logistics clerk to support shipping operations in our Mesquite, TX warehouse. You will check in drivers, prepare shipping paperwork, coordinate with dock and drivers, and ensure proper sign-off and timely loads.

You will also work with customer service on special paperwork, enter orders, scan documents, and update reports for the Operations Manager and COO. Strong typing and clerical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Typing at least 40 wpm.
• 1–2 years of clerical experience.
• Basic transportation, logistics and shipping experience.

Responsibilities

• Check in all drivers.
• Print all pertinent paperwork for shipping.
• Coordinate with the dock and drivers what door they will be loading product in.
• Ensure all paperwork is properly signed by pick up driver.
• Close loads in the system.
• Coordinate with Customer Service on special paperwork for certain orders; enter customer orders and scan/index documents.
• Clearly understand goals, policies, and procedures of RJW.
• Communicate customer problems, leads, and inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Recommend improvements and update reports as required by operations manager and COO.
