Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping operations aboard our ship. You will manage guest staterooms, crew accommodations, public areas, and night operations while maintaining shipwide cleanliness and safety standards.

This role requires at least 2 years of leadership experience in housekeeping on ships or large 5-star hotels, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years housekeeping leadership experience on ships or 200+ room 5 Star hotel within the last 4 years.
• Proven experience leading a diverse team.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions.
• Knowledge of maintenance reporting cloud-based systems and hotel integration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned area including Guest Staterooms, Crew Accommodations, Night Operations and Public Areas.
• Uphold highest cleanliness and maintenance standards onboard the ship.
• Conduct daily area inspections to ensure USPH and quality compliance.
• Oversee scheduling and work assignments for the housekeeping team.
• Resolve guest issues in a timely manner and document follow up.
• Provide leadership and development to team and conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines including USPH and Coast Guard.
