Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group seeks an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee cleanliness and visual impressions aboard our ships, ensuring seamless premium service and memorable guest experiences.

The role requires strong hospitality, communication, and organizational skills, plus decisive leadership and training capabilities to drive high performance on the floor with crews and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Two to three years progressive Housekeeping managerial experience in upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship; shipboard experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field or international equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling and safety procedures, equipment use and PPE.
• Knowledge of HR policies, talent assessment, leadership, coaching for front line employees and junior management.
• Working knowledge of computers and software packages (Excel, Word, SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia, Kronos).
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost containment, inventories and forecasting in housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Owns the guests experience related to cleanliness and visual impressions onboard with premium service execution.
• Ensures flawless delivery of all housekeeping services to the highest level of expectation.
• Maintains positive working environment and communicates openly to manage performance expectations.
• Provides training, leadership development and recognition for supervisors and crew; maintains strong floor presence.
• Ensures exceptional customer service to guests through flawless execution of responsibilities.
