Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead shipboard housekeeping and drive guest satisfaction. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and develop crew toward excellence, coordinating with other departments to uphold safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of leadership on ships or large hotels, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules and resolve guest issues while maintaining USPH compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years housekeeping leadership experience on ships or 200+ room 5 Star hotel within the last 4 years.
• Proven experience leading a diverse team and coordinating with multiple departments.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned areas including guest staterooms, public areas and decks.
• Ensure USPH compliance and standard of cleanliness and maintenance.
• Schedule team activities and manage guest issue resolution in a timely manner.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings and ongoing staff development.
• Maintain equipment usage and safety protocols, and document incidents.
