Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead shipboard housekeeping operations, including guest staterooms, public areas, and crew accommodations, while partnering with other departments to exceed guest expectations.

You will report to the Housekeeping Manager, develop the crew, and drive inspections to uphold USPH standards, safety, and quality across all areas at sea.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years housekeeping leadership on ships or 200+ room 5-star hotel within the last 4 years.
• Proven experience leading a diverse team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of USPH/MLC guidelines and hotel operations would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned housekeeping areas: Guest Staterooms, Public Areas, Night Operations and related duties.
• Maintain highest cleanliness and maintenance standards on the ship.
• Conduct area inspections and ensure compliance with Show quality, maintenance and USPH standards.
• Oversee scheduling, timekeeping and crew development.
• Communicate guest issues with timely follow-up and resolution.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all housekeeping activities.</=
• Provide leadership and development to team and conduct daily pre-shift meetings.
