Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping operations aboard a Disney vessel. You will manage guest staterooms, public areas, and crew accommodations, guiding a diverse team to meet USPH and quality standards.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will schedule tasks, conduct inspections, mentor crew, and ensure safety. This shipboard role requires a passion for guest service and willingness to live and work at sea.

Qualifications

• 2+ years housekeeping leadership on ships or 200+ room hotel within the last 4 years.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team and communicate effectively.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of maintenance reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned area including Guest Staterooms/Crew Accommodations, Night Operations, Public Areas, Deck, Wardrobe, Floor Care.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and maintenance of ship.
• Conduct daily area inspections to meet USPH and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with MLC 2006 and time recording in company systems.
• Oversee scheduling and work assignments for the team.
• Address guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform daily inspections including pest management and maintenance checks.
