Job summary

Disney Cruise Line seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping operations aboard a Disney vessel. You will oversee guest staterooms, crew accommodations, public areas, and night operations, building strong relationships with other department managers and guiding the crew toward exceptional guest experiences.

You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and ensure USPH and Coast Guard standards are met, manage daily inspections, scheduling, training, and guest issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years housekeeping leadership on ships or 200+ room 5-star hotel in the last 4 years.
• Proven experience leading a diverse team and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and make timely decisions.
• Strong partnering and relationship skills with department leaders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC-based databases; open to learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned areas including guest staterooms, crew accommodations, night operations, public areas, deck and wardrobe.
• Maintain最高 standards of cleanliness and ship maintenance; ensure USPH and Coast Guard compliance.
• Conduct daily area inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Schedule team, allocate work, and manage guest issue resolution.
• Lead department meetings; provide leadership and development to staff.
• Monitor equipment/chemical usage and support pest management inspections.
