American Cruise Lines is hiring Galley Stewards for the 2027 season to work aboard ships in a fast-paced galley, ensuring sanitary conditions and exceptional dining experiences. The role is temporary, up to 28 weeks, with opportunities to engage guests and participate in events.

You will be part of a team delivering hospitality across 50 itineraries in 35 states, with travel, room and board, uniforms, and training provided.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for shipboard employees, including Marijuana.
• Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited while on ship; safety training included.
• Grooming standards apply; temporary position up to 28 weeks.
• Opportunity to advance to management positions, though not guaranteed.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
• Creating genuine rapport with our guests and catering to all galley requests in an efficient manner.
• Galley Stewards may be required to perform other functions, such as greeting guests upon embarkation, and assisting during special events including teas, snacks, and evening entertainment.
