American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Galley Stewards for the 2027 season to work in our shipboard galley, ensuring sanitation of all items needed for an outstanding dining experience.

This is a temporary 28-week position with potential growth within the company. You will be part of a team delivering hospitality on America’s leading small ship cruises, with travel, room and board provided aboard.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required for all shipboard employees.
• Temporary 28-week shipboard position with no guaranteed future employment.
• Grooming standards apply, including limited tattoos and piercings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of galley, including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure dishwasher operates properly and report issues to management.
• Build rapport with guests and fulfill galley requests efficiently.
• May perform additional duties such as greeting guests and assisting during events.
