Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Galley Stewards for the 2027 season. You will work in the shipboard galley to ensure sanitation of all kitchenware, while supporting guest service and event duties.

The role is a temporary assignment for 28 weeks onboard, with opportunities to save given onboard living expense coverage. Highlights include weekly wages ranging from $1,000 to $1,400, with additional bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Ability to perform essential functions in a shipboard environment with or without accommodations.
• Pre-employment drug test for all shipboard employees; alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of galley, cutlery, glassware, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure dishwasher is operating properly and report issues to management.
• Create rapport with guests and fulfill galley requests efficiently.
• May assist with embarkation greetings and participate in events and entertainment.
