Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring Galley Stewards for the 2027 season. You will work aboard our ships to ensure sanitation and a smooth dining experience in the galley, with this temporary role lasting 28 weeks.

As an entry-level position, you’ll build foundational hospitality skills, enjoy weekly wages, and have major living expenses covered aboard. Join a team dedicated to sharing America’s story on our fleet of ships.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test is required for all shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while on duty.
• Grooming standards apply, including limitations on tattoos and piercings.
• Temporary employment position not to extend beyond 28 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure galley and related areas, including cutlery, glassware, and dishes, are clean and sanitized.
• Receive and carry food deliveries weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure dishwasher operates properly and report maintenance issues.
• Create rapport with guests and efficiently handle galley requests.
• May perform other duties such as greeting guests and assisting at events.
