Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring Galley Stewards for the 2027 season. You will work in the shipboard galley to ensure proper sanitation of all items needed for an outstanding dining experience. This is a temporary position for 28 weeks aboard our ships.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required; alcohol use prohibited aboard ship.

• Opportunity to advance within American Cruise Lines, though not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of galley, cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries, weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure proper operation of the commercial dishwasher and report issues.
• Greet guests and fulfill galley requests efficiently.
• Assist with events and guest engagement during embarkation and special occasions.
