Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the leading U.S. cruise company, seeks a Galley Steward for the 2027 season. You will work aboard to maintain sanitation and assist in delivering a premium dining experience. The position is temporary for 28 weeks with generous living arrangements covered.

Responsibilities include keeping the galley spotless, handling deliveries, and supporting guest services during events. Candidates should be ready for long shifts at sea and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required under Federal Law and DOT.
• Alcohol consumption onboard is strictly prohibited.
• Grooming standards apply; temporary employment for 28 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the galley, cutlery, glassware, dishes and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Operate the commercial dishwasher and report maintenance needs.
• Create genuine rapport with guests and fulfill galley requests efficiently.
• Perform additional duties, including greeting guests and assisting at events.
