Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, seeks Galley Stewards for the 2027 season. Work in our shipboard galley to ensure sanitation of all items for an outstanding dining experience. This temporary role runs for 28 weeks aboard our vessels.

We require 18+ years, U.S. citizenship or Green Card, and pre-employment drug testing. The job includes duties beyond dishwashing, such as guest engagement and event support, with full travel, room, board, uniforms, and training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for all shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited aboard ship.
• Grooming standards apply, including limitations on tattoos and piercings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of galley, cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure dishwasher is operating properly and report maintenance issues.
• Create rapport with guests and attend galley requests efficiently.
• May perform other duties such as greeting guests on embarkation and assisting during events.
