Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring Galley Stewards for the 2027 season to work aboard our ships, ensuring proper sanitation of galley items for a top-notch dining experience. This is a temporary 28-week onboard role with the chance to gain foundational hospitality experience.

You’ll be part of a crew traveling across the United States, with wages ranging $1,000–$1,400 per week plus bonuses; travel, room and board, uniforms, and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing (including marijuana).
• Alcohol consumption is prohibited on shipboard.
• Grooming standards apply (tattoos/piercings limited).
• Temporary position not to exceed 28 weeks on board.
• Maintain composure and positive attitude under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of galley, cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries, up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure dishwasher is operating properly and report maintenance issues.
• Engage with guests and assist galley requests efficiently.
• May perform additional duties such as greeting guests and assisting during events.
