Qualifications

• High School graduation or trade school with at least 6 years related experience.
• Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Experience troubleshooting and testing mechanical systems.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Must obtain base access credentials and DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify shipboard elevator equipment.
• Perform maintenance and technical support on elevators and doors.
• Analyze elevator operations and performance.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors; provide work direction.
