Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Team Lead for Elevator Support Unit to oversee skilled trades on Navy ship elevators. The role is based in San Diego, CA, with 51–75% travel required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school equivalent required.
• 6 years related experience including 2+ years as a team/deck lead.
• Experience repairing and testing T-AKE Class ship cargos and weapons elevators.
• Experience repairing LPD/LHD/LSD/CVN class elevators and weapons handling systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams for installations and repairs across multiple shipboard elevator systems.
• Repair, modernize, test shipboard elevators and weapons handling systems.
• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipment and subsystems at customer sites.
• Analyze performance, troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate field changes and maintain customer communications; provide onsite training if required.
