Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks an experienced Team Lead to supervise installations and repairs on shipboard systems for fleet modernization. Travel to shipyards and bases will be 50%–75%, with per diem provided for travel.

The role requires leadership, ability to coordinate multiple jobs, and protective safety practices. Per diems are location-based; travel and lodging are covered by the company.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, plus 6 years of Alteration Install Team experience (2 years as team/deck lead).
• Ability to travel 50–75% when not on local tasking.
• DOD Secret security clearance required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams for installations and repairs on active class surface ships to upgrade fleet modernization.
• Manage, schedule, and assign tasks across multiple jobs/contracts to meet standards.
• Develop, maintain and use technical documents and work packages for field changes and installations.
• Provide on-site training and maintain effective customer communications; supervise subcontractors and lead others.
