Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer II in Louisville, KY to join a multi-discipline team focusing on Shipboard Effectors hardware. You will design, analyze, and troubleshoot CCAs and related subsystems, collaborating across Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production and test issues.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience; US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance.
• US citizenship required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and processes to CCA/component level.
• Resolve production/test issues, including with suppliers.
• Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze analog/digital signals and model subsystems.
• Propose circuit card and subassembly design updates.
• Provide on-site support and possible supplier travel.
