Job summary

Dairy Queen in Daleville, VA is seeking a hands-on Store Manager to lead a high-volume quick-service operation. You will manage inventory, costs, and staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience during scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• High-volume restaurant leadership experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• ServSafe certifiable

Responsibilities

• Operations: Manage entire operation during shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere and completing duties like inventory control and cash handling.
• Training: Ensure shift leads and crew are trained on PRIDE systems, recipes, food safety and safety procedures.
• Business Planning: Assist GM with business plan execution, analyze P&L impact and adjust labor, inventory and cash controls.
• Fan Service: Ensure Fan service meets company standards and promptly address customer concerns to convert dissatisfied guests into return fans.
• Team Leader Development: Hire, train and coach staff; monitor performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Health and Safety Standards: Enforce food safety training, sanitation standards and emergency readiness.
• Store Marketing: Contribute to local store marketing initiatives and competitive analysis.
• Responsibilities: Perform under pressure in a high-volume setting, stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds; handle allergens safely.
