Job summary

Dairy Queen in the United States seeks an experienced Assistant Manager to run a store with attention to detail and guest experience. You will assist the GM with operations, inventory, people, sales, and local marketing to deliver a great, fairly priced fan experience.

You will oversee shift performance, safety practices, and team development, while maintaining strong customer service and operational standards. Training and leadership are key parts of this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cash control to meet P&L goals.
• Train shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes and safety practices.
• Help implement strategies to increase average check and fan visits.
• Lead and coach team, ensuring schedule coverage for daily/seasonal needs.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation standards and emergency readiness.
• Support local store marketing activities and competitive analysis.
