Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to run store operations during scheduled shifts, overseeing quality, service and atmosphere. The role focuses on achieving strong guest satisfaction, managing inventory, and controlling costs with the GM and ADQ guidance. Team leadership and training are essential for daily success.

You will ensure PP&E safety and cleanliness, implement PRIDE procedures, and drive sales through great customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere.
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, safety practices and routines.
• Assist GM with business planning, inventory control, labor projection and cash control.
• Ensure Fan service standards are met and customer concerns are resolved promptly.
• Lead hiring, training and performance feedback for team members.
• Support health and safety standards, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
• Contribute to store marketing efforts and local promotions.
• Perform duties under pressure, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
