Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Upper Marlboro, MD to support the CVS Store Management team, drive store execution and build customer loyalty through service excellence.

In this role, you will lead the store staff in the absence of a manager, ensure smooth operations, and complete opening/closing tasks while maintaining confidentiality and a positive shopping experience for CVS customers.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite and ensure opening/closing procedures are completed.
• Supervise the store crew by directing and following up on activities.
• Ensure clear communication between store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints while promoting CVS customer service culture.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Merchandise, price, stock shelves and manage displays and seasonal items.
