Job summary

Philz Coffee is seeking a Team Lead (Shift Supervisor) to supervise daily shifts and mentor a vibrant team of baristas. You will champion exceptional service and handcrafted drink quality while fostering a welcoming atmosphere, aligned with Philz Core Values.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and train others in a dynamic cafe setting.
• Ability to manage shifts and ensure service and drink quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of shifts and support a dynamic team of baristas.
• Motivate and inspire team members and set the bar for superior service and drink quality.
• Hold team members accountable to shifts, cover called-out shifts, and manage breaks.
• Communicate performance to Store Leaders and other Shift Supervisors for consistency.
• Support promotions and new hires through in-store training.
• Assist Store Leader with operations and administrative duties.
• Lead safety program implementation and maintenance.
