Qualifications

• Oversee daily production in the slaughter department and meet safety standards.
• Lead and develop a team; align with line personnel and plant management.
• Ensure quality and food-safety compliance while adhering to labor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Slaughter Office for order sheets and attend supervisor meetings.
• Direct employees to meet production volume, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules.
• Address employee grievances, disputes, or concerns promptly; escalate unresolved issues to Personnel.
• Participate in group and line meetings.
• Partner with Quality Control to ensure product quality and food-safety compliance.
• Train and coach employees to build management depth and teamwork.
• Monitor machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure maintenance and sanitation.
• Maintain positive employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions.
• Communicate regularly with line personnel and plant management.
• All other duties as assigned.
