Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor in York to oversee kitchen operations and deliver top-quality food and service across shifts. You will lead the restaurant team, coordinate with the chef leadership team, manage orders and deliveries, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are consistently met.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervising experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant, strong communication, attention to detail, and a professional leadership style.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervising or leading team members in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant team in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure quality.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries in line with company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure stock and assist with supplies.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices follow schedules.
• Monitor kitchen costs and follow budget guidelines.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and remains functional.
• Brief front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Meet operating and quality standards; maintain professional leadership.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development of staff.
