Reworld Waste is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead safe, efficient operation of a power/resource recovery plant on a 12‑hour rotating schedule in the United States. You will oversee boilers, turbines, and plant personnel while ensuring compliance with environmental permits and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include directing daily checks, coordinating maintenance, and training a capable, cross-trained team to deliver reliable plant performance and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• An Engineering Degree is desirable, but hands-on boiler and electrical generation experience is required.
• ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license must be obtained.
• Knowledge of steam power stations and control systems; ability to implement procedures.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure policies are followed.
• Maintain plant within environmental limits and permits.
• Emergency response to injuries or accidents.
• Direct shift, daily, weekly and monthly checks.
• Approve requests to remove equipment from service and issue safety permits.
• Troubleshoot plant operations and coordinate maintenance.
• Train and manage a versatile, cross-trained workforce.
