Job summary

MOD Pizza in Olympia is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts and support training for new hires. You will be the senior squad member on shift, ensuring the team delivers outstanding guest experiences and adheres to MOD standards.

You will model MOD’s purpose, coach the squad, and drive smooth operations while guiding teammates and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience as a mentor, trainer, or informal leader.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proven ability to enforce processes and provide coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift to ensure guests are served, restaurant is clean, and standards are met.
• Train new hires and support program rollouts.
• Maintain equipment and systems including online ordering and customer surveys.
• Ensure food safety and use MOD tools/standards.
• Handle cash within the shift and manage refunds as needed.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and communicate shifts changes.
• Monitor emails for updates to keep squad effective.
