Job summary

MOD Pizza in Auburn, WA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards while delivering outstanding guest experiences. You will guide the squad, ensure deployment accuracy, and support management to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

You will supervise staffing, manage cash, and drive consistent service, safety, and cleanliness while modeling MOD’s values on every shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Follow and enforce processes and standards; coach with compassion.
• Calm presence during high volume.
• Obtain food safety certification within 30 days of start date or sooner where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work at least 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to ensure a welcoming, clean, and efficient restaurant operation.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support program rollouts.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet goals.
• Use MOD tools and standards to keep food safe in Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns and escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately and responsibly.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Follow opening/closing checklists and stay informed via email about updates.
