CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to develop management skills in an entry-level position. This role includes responsibilities in supervising store activities, enhancing customer service, and preparing for promotion to supervisory roles upon successful training completion. Flexibility in schedule is required.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, completes training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisor positions. These roles support the store management team in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary, with actual compensation depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
