The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key business aspects like customer loyalty and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by driving store performance and ensuring smooth operations when managers are not present. Responsibilities include leading staff, managing store procedures, and maintaining excellent customer service.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, strong deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary; actual compensation depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
