A leading company in the health sector seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee to develop supervisory skills through a comprehensive training program. This entry-level position prepares candidates for roles such as Operations Supervisor and involves key responsibilities in management and customer service, contributing to improved store performance and customer loyalty.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary; actual offers depend on experience, education, location, and other factors.
