CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare employees for future supervisory roles. This entry-level position involves management training and customer service responsibilities, with opportunities for promotions to supervisory positions upon successful completion of the program.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime, is required.
Salary ranges are based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
