CVS Health seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee to develop supervisory skills for future promotions. This entry-level role involves supervising staff, enhancing customer service, and executing management duties, contributing to a culture of customer loyalty and effective store operations.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The Trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, Trainees are eligible for promotion to open Supervisor positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. The role requires retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime is necessary.
Salary ranges depend on experience, education, and location.
