CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee for its Fletcher, NC location. This entry-level role involves management training and customer service responsibilities, preparing candidates for higher supervisory positions. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs directed work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team by driving store execution, performance, and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and retail experience. The role requires deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time annual salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
