Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Oakley, CA is seeking an energetic crew member to perform and lead basic restaurant duties, ensuring quality products and fast service. You will supervise stations, coach team members, and uphold sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic restaurant knowledge, good math/reading skills, and strong communication. Minimum 30 hours per week with irregular hours, including nights and weekends, plus eligibility for benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• General restaurant or retail knowledge is required.
• Basic math and reading skills are needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are expected.
• Ability to follow directions and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform, lead, and supervise station duties as assigned to meet standards.
• Ensure team works at capacity and maintains speed of service.
• Coach and train crew members on tasks.
• Comply with company policies and sanitation standards.
• Assist with new employee orientation and training.
• Report complaints to MOD.
• Lead regular cleaning and sanitation duties, including trash disposal and wiping surfaces.
• Attend shifts and participate in shift meetings.
• Move and stock food up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties as required.
