Job summary

MOD SUPER FAST PIZZA, LLC. is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Glen Allen, VA to lead restaurant operations during shifts and support training for new hires. You will ensure the squad performs tasks, delivers the MOD experience, and upholds standards for guest experiences across the shift.

You will guide the team, deploy resources, and act as a senior member on shift, coaching others and maintaining a welcoming, efficient operation. This role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proven success in following and enforcing processes and standards; correcting and coaching in a compassionate manner.
• Have the ability to be a calming presence in periods of high volume.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date or sooner where required by law.
• You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
• Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by ensuring the right squad member is in the right place and doing the right work.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain operating systems and equipment to meet restaurant goals, including online ordering and catering systems.
• Ensure food safety standards and use MOD tools and standards across Front and Back of House.
• Listen, acknowledge, and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift and handle refunds; take inventory and place orders as needed.
