Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team, drive store execution and customer loyalty with a focus on service. When no manager is onsite, you lead staff and ensure opening/closing procedures are completed smoothly.

You will supervise, assist customers, manage merchandise presentation, and uphold confidentiality while promoting a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the store staff when needed and direct activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with store management and crews and communicate information effectively.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote service culture.
• Greet customers, offer help and thank them to foster loyalty.
• Handle customer relations issues per company policy and protect confidentiality.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves and maintain presentation.
• Execute displays, signage and inventory for weekly, promotional and seasonal items.
• Reset departments after planograms and maintain off-shelf merchandise.
