Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in achieving store execution and customer service excellence. In the absence of a manager, you will lead the staff and ensure smooth opening and closing procedures while maintaining a positive shopping experience for CVS customers.

Responsibilities include supervising crew, merchandising, and assisting customers. A prior retail supervisory background is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with store management and crews to drive store execution.
• Lead store staff in opening/closing procedures in the absence of a manager or supervisor.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Promote CVS customer service culture and maintain confidentiality.
• Stock shelves, price merchandise, and manage displays and seasonal promotions.
